Ordering a transcript, reasons or audio recording

Reasons and audio recordings

Hearings are digitally recorded. The reasons for a decision may be provided to the parties involved in the proceedings as an audio recording on CD, on request, free of charge. The request for reasons should be made to QCAT within two weeks of the decision or the date the decision takes effect.

An audio recording of the full proceeding will be charged at $17 per hour. If the full proceeding lasted less than 1 hour, the minimum charge will be $17.

To order reasons or an audio recording of the proceedings, please complete a Request for reasons or audio recording (PDF, 255.6 KB) form and lodge with QCAT.

Transcripts

If you require a transcript of the proceeding, you may wish to provide an external transcription agency with a copy of your audio recording.

Read more about your matter type before making an application.
